Pregnancy on a budget
Ok so this is the deal. I’m almost 20 weeks pregnant with my first baby. Me and my husband currently both work full time and earn enough to normally get along OK, but not large amounts. Ideally we want to move house before the baby is born to somewhere a bit bigger, with a garden, somewhere we can settle down with a family and not think about moving again. This is going to increase our mortgage, which will make things a little tighter. Also we are considering the possibility of me not returning to work after maternity leave. This is for a number of reasons the primary one being that at the moment I feel like I would prefer to stay at home and look after our child, also on the wage I am on currently once we had paid nursery fees I would effectively be working full time for just a few hundred pounds.
So all in all we are going to have to tighten our belts!
